It all started in October 2022, when Amanda and CJ crossed paths on Hinge. Their first conversation was filled with talk of food, family, and their shared love for gambling. But what really sealed the deal for CJ was when Amanda showed up to their first date with rainbow cookies and a bottle of Santa Margherita—CJ knew right away she was the one.

On their third date, they went to a casino and, as if by fate, hit a $2,000 jackpot (don't tell Ralph Tufano). From that moment on, it’s been nothing but laughs and good times. Whether they’re exploring new restaurants or hunting down the perfect pizza slice (which, by the way, they are obsessed with), they're always together, always smiling, and always trying to find that elusive "no flop" slice.

They both love to eat, but more than that, they love to cook. CJ, armed with every gadget in their kitchen, is always experimenting, while Amanda, ever the perfectionist, is left cleaning up the aftermath. But it’s all worth it because, at the end of the day, they’re in it together, sharing moments and meals with the people they love most.

Family and friends are everything to them. Weekends are dedicated to spending time with loved ones, making memories, and cherishing the moments they’ve built. So when CJ proposed on 11.11 at Hecksher State Park, with the beautiful Robert Moses Bridge in the background—the same bridge Amanda crossed every time she drove to see him in Long Beach—it felt like a perfect chapter in their story.

They decided to get married on 8.8 to complete the pattern (because, why not?). CJ still jokes about eloping in Vegas, but deep down, they both can’t wait to celebrate this day surrounded by their favorite people—their families and friends. It’s going to be one unforgettable day, and they can’t wait to share it with you!
